Charity Wild Game Cook-off

The Texas Association of First Responders Charity
Wild Game Cook-off is an annual event that
consists of cook teams from various law
enforcement and fire fighter agencies such as:
Houston Police Department, Harris County Sheriff’
s Department, FBI, Houston Fire Department,
DEA, US Customs, US Marines, various Volunteer
Fire Departments, as well as many other agencies
within Harris County and the surrounding areas.
Friday and Saturday
April 9-10, 2010
at
Sam Houston
Race Park
Saturday afternoon features displays, personnel,
equipment, and presentations from various law
enforcement and fire fighter agencies such as:
HPD Mounted Patrol, US Marines, S.W.A.T.,
Houston Police Department, and many others.  
Children of all ages will be able meet members of
these governmental agencies and learn what our
First Responders do for our communities every day.

There are games, food, and craft displays for all to
enjoy.  As the sun starts to go down, live music
entertainment will be the feature of the evening.   

Proceeds of the event benefit Texas Association of
First Responders charitable activities.
