| Texas Association of First Responders hosted a fund raiser on August 27, 2011 for Texas City Police Officer Joshua Roberts, who was injured in a car accident enroute to a domestic disturbance call on January 1, 2011. This was a very successful event! Afterwards TAFR was able to present Office Joshua Roberts with check to aide in his recovery in the amount of $11,729.60.
